Township of Roxbury
Biography
Roxbury Township’s Manager Steve Senese serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the departments. The Township Council establishes policy and direction for the manager and departments.
Roxbury is a family friendly community with a rich history dating back to 1740. It is home to over 23,000 residents and covers an area of approximately 22 square miles. The six communities that make up Roxbury Township include Berkshire Valley, Landing, Port Morris, Kenvil, Ledgewood and Succasunna. The Township offers a diversity of housing, cultural opportunities, active recreation, and library programs, with 17 award-winning parks and three lakes including Lake Hopatcong (NJ’s largest lake).
The Roxbury school district serves 3400 students within seven public schools and is known for its specialized career academies and performing arts programming.
