Roxbury Arts Alliance and Hunter Hall 

We look forward to hearing from Lisa Church and Florencia Guzman, showcasing two local gems — Roxbury Arts Alliance and Hunter Hall.

We’ll learn about performance opportunities and appreciate how the arts enrich our lives, fostering cultural vibrancy, social cohesion, and belonging.

Plus, we’ll consider the economic impact – attracting visitors to our community and supporting local businesses. Don’t miss celebrating the transformative power of the arts.

Join us on Wednesday May 15th. We’ll begin at noon with introductions around the room, then lunch and our featured speakers. Come early for open networking from 11:30-12.

The Roxbury Arts Alliance has been promoting the arts in and around Roxbury Township, since 1997. What began with occasional performances in coffee houses by several parents of Roxbury High School students has evolved into year-round family entertainment. Performances inside the theater located at the Horseshoe Lake complex include concerts, plays, poetry and other performances. Four free summer concerts are held outdoors at the Bandshell at Horseshoe Lake

Hunter Hall in Ledgewood brings people together to enjoy art and music, collaborate, study, and experience classical music in an intimate concert setting.  We foster a welcoming environment where audiences can easily interact with performers and enjoy relaxed receptions. Making classical music concerts comfortable and accessible for everyone by removing formalities and fears of “doing things right,” we feature world-class international and local musicians in our quarterly Concert Series, supporting artists while introducing their work to the community. Our main goal is to revitalize the celebration of classical music through concerts and teaching, offering private lessons, group classes, and innovative educational programs for schools. Additionally, we host various cultural and social events, including art exhibits, open mic nights, dance events, networking gatherings, student recitals, and provide space for classes and private events. Hunter Hall is owned and directed by Florencia Guzman, a fourth-generation classical pianist.
