Senior Jessica Gerlach wants to open up her own daycare one day. With the help of the Roxbury Chamber of Commerce, she’ll have $1,000 toward her educational goals to help her dream come true.

The Roxbury Chamber of Commerce announced yesterday (May 16, 2013) at its monthly luncheon meeting that Gerlach was the first recipient of its new scholarship program that will give $1,000 to a graduating senior from Roxbury High School. Gerlach has a 3.8 GPA and is a very industrious student who works part-time at a local grocery store. She plans to go to CCM following graduation.
