LANDING, N.J. (June 18, 2019) – From above, Earth appears as a water planet with more than 71 percent of its surface covered with this vital resource for life. Water Impacts climate, agriculture, transportation, industry and more. It inspires art and music. The Lake Hopatcong Foundation, in cooperation with New Jersey Council for the Humanities, will examine water as an environmental necessity and an important cultural element as it hosts “Water/Ways,” a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street (MoMS) program. “Water/Ways” will be on view at the Lake Hopatcong Foundation Environmental and Cultural Center, 125 Landing Road, Landing, N.J. from July 1 through August 10.

The Metropolitan Builders & Contractors Association of New Jersey (MetroBCA) has announced the Winners of the 2019 Awards of Excellence. Succasunna, NJ based builder, Main Street Custom Homes & Remodeling (MSCH&R) received the award for “Best Historic Renovation – Commercial” for the Steeple Restoration project at the First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna. The award was presented on June 6, 2019 at the MetroBCA annual spring gala dinner which took place at the Hanover Manor in East Hanover, NJ. (more…)


ROXBURY TWP., NJ – May 1, 2019 – The Roxbury Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that its 7th Annual Town-wide Garage Sale will take place during the weekend of Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., each day, throughout the Township. In 2018 this fundraiser, for the Chamber of Commerce, featured over 150 individual garage sales—attracting hundreds of visitors to the Township for a great weekend of shopping.
