Roxbury’s Shop Local Campaign and Business Longevity Recognition/Hall of Fame Program

Time: We’ll begin at noon with introductions around the room, then lunch and our featured speakers. Come early for open networking from 11:30-12.

Location: Outback Steakhouse

The Roxbury Economic Development Committee serves as a friendly resource for companies seeking a new location as well as those already operating in the area.  Hear from committee members Radwa Ali and David Klein about Roxbury’s Shop Local campaign as well as Roxbury’s Business Longevity Program and Hall of Fame, which recognizes the difficulty of sustaining and growing a viable business within a community for an extended period of time.

All area business owners and representatives are welcome. More attendees brings better networking and more future referrals.

About our Speakers:

Radwa Ali is the Director of the Roxbury Public Library in Succasunna, New Jersey. Prior to that she was the Director of the Bogota Public Library, and worked at the Hackensack, Montclair and Plainsboro public libraries. She is a technology aficionado, previously chairing both the Main Library Alliance and the Bergen County Cooperative Library System technology committees. Radwa is an active member of the Roxbury Woman’s Club, Rotary Club and serves on the Roxbury Economic Development Committee. Radwa has served in leadership capacities on the executive boards of the Roxbury Rotary Club, the Main Library Alliance, and the New Jersey Library Association. She is the owner of Dewey Design Services, LLC and Venali Press, LLC, and has published 3 children’s books.

David Klein, a Roxbury resident, is a member of both the Zoning Board and Roxbury Economic Development Committee. He is a business transformation leader and has worked for: Nabisco, Inc., Kraft Foods and Atlantic Health System as Sr. Director of Digital Marketing & Innovation. He is featured in Bill Gates’ book, “Business at the Speed of Thought”.
